Privacy policy

How Intensive Training Group uses and protects your personal information.

Last updated: 5 November 2026

Who we are

This website covers Intensive Training Group (ITG) and ITG Rapid Assault Tactics. ITG is owned and run by Clive Whitworth. Clive Whitworth and Charlie Andrews are jointly responsible for this website and for the personal information it handles (together, "we" or "us").

For any question about your personal information, contact either of us:

Information we collect

When you contact us

If you phone, text or email us, we receive the details you give us, such as your name, phone number, email address and your message. We use them to answer you and to arrange training you ask about. We keep them only as long as we need them for that, then delete them.

When you visit this website

The website has no forms, advertising or tracking. We count how many visits the site gets each day; this count is anonymous and does not record who you are or your IP address.

The website's hosting provider keeps short-term technical logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) to run the service and keep it secure.

Staff accounts

People who manage the website have an account with their name, email address and a securely stored password. We record when each account was last used, so we can keep the site secure.

Cookies

The website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work:

  • a session cookie, which lets the website recognise your visit and keeps staff logged in; and
  • a security cookie (XSRF-TOKEN), which protects the website against a type of attack called cross-site request forgery.

We do not use analytics, advertising or social media cookies. Because these cookies are strictly necessary, we do not ask for consent to use them.

Our legal basis

Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR), we use your information because you have asked us to (for example, to reply to you or arrange training) or because we have a legitimate interest in running and securing our website and training group.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. We use these services to run the website and our email, and they handle information on our behalf:

  • DigitalOcean, which hosts the website and its images; and
  • Google (Gmail), for email.

The website's directions links open Google Maps, which is covered by Google's own privacy policy.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct or delete it, or to stop using it. Contact either of us using the details above.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if how we use personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
